Thanks again x
Um, no, not really, its still a walk away from the CIS building, further from the co-op bank, and both of them are further away from Piccadilly than your hotel!
If you really want to get the tram then go to Shudehill and ask one of the staff to direct you to Swan Street. If you walk along Swan Street away from the CIS building, you'll see the Holiday Inn on your right.
I'm very worried on your behalf though, I'm still advocating the taxi option!0 -
I'm annoyed at myself for it looking further in to it before booking now, I hoped we could walk to print works in the evening
I'm going to man handle ds into a taxi I reckon.... So if you hear on the news on a crazed woman drop kicking a teenage boy into a cab you'll know I'm getting my 5 mins of fame lol0 -

You will be able to walk to the Printworks, its very close and the hotel staff can help, but I just think you'd be much better off getting to your hotel safely and then venturing out once you know where it is to get back to it!0 -

You can always ask people in Manchester for directions too, we're not as scary as we look, even the trendy types in the Northern Quarter!
Do you need any help getting to a hospital too? Is it the RMCH?
Very friendly people and I married a Manchurian. Good luck with the hospital admission x
I really would get a taxi - just so much easier xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Have you looked on the Holiday Inn website to see if they give travel directions?
Could be worth printing off a map ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Thank yo everyone, I just thought I would update ..
I got a taxi to the hotel costing £5.40 , the holiday inn was lovely and I'd really recommend it. Also as you come out the hotel and turn right it's a 4min walk to debenhams so I knew where I was from there :-)
And thanks for the good wishes,my sons appt went very well xx0
