Today was meant to be a spend day getting some groceries, but I decided to make do with what I have and I also persuaded myself to put off that internet purchase,as it's definitely a want and not a need.

    So that's #15 taken care of.:j

Excuse me while I go off and polish my halo....:D

    :hello:

    Hi all xxx

So sorry I haven't got in recently, has been mad at work and I managed to get up to Mum's on Wednesday night for a couple of days :D and as a bonus my brother turned up yesterday afternoon to take he out to a pre booked night at the ballet tonight that he had booked for her birthday so I got to see him before I left too :D

Got back last night for work today...........will explain about the chaos that the big stray from outside has been causing when I manage to get in for a proper catch up on the thread.

I have managed to get up to 8 NSDs but today won't be one as I need to get a couple of cat bits and some petrol on the way home from work tonight

Well done to everyone on NSDs so far and thanks for next months thread

    Will catch up soon xxx

Evening all, sorry I've not been on this week, been away with work again - totally manic and super busy week (i/e to the extent of 6 back to back meetings, plus a working lunch on the first day )

I didn't have time to make the tablet on Sun which was a shame as I was going to take some over to the office with me. However I did have to leave kit with cat food while I was away so no NSD there :(

But, I have been far too busy to spend so am now up to NSD #12 :j did have one minor spend while I was away in that I downloaded another kindle book (still averaging one read every two weeks over the past 2 1/2 years:eek:)

Did pay off my cc bill while I was away too (bit the bullet on the rather large one :o) but feeling a little bit shakey finance wise this month, seem to have had a few spendy times of late and OH has just been rubbish with cash and I don't feel any of the accounts are where they really should be. :( plus we have a house guest the week after next in the shape of DN which, whilst we will try and do things sensibly, will still cost.

Have only had a chance to skim through the past 7 pages, big hugs to all those who are having a tough time atm - and Freeby enjoy your hols.

Can't believe that we have a July thread already

    Happy Sunday

We have a mixture of sunshine, grey skys and showers.

Spoon, thanks for updating and for my prize!

Hope freeby, is having a good break.

Yesterday was NSD 13 as I had a lazy PJ day :o and today will be NSD 14 as I am catching up on some chores that I had planned for yesterday but didn't do :o mainly ironing and preparing / cooking meals for during the week.

I have decided to turn my attention to some weight loss. When I was off work I started off being good because I knew I wouldn't be getting any exercise (swimming and walking are my things) but I've been over indulging in all foods of late and little exercise. My clothes feel tight. From today, I intend to do more exercise, eat healthier and smaller portions and cut out the wine. Not a big drinker but have noticed I have been buying it a little more frequently. It will also save me money.

I would like to increase my NSD target again to 16 please. I am really happy with my NSDs total this month with still another 7 days left to grab a few more if I am good. :D

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Expected to have a low spend day yesterday as I was at a 40th birthday party....took the car though and spent most of the night catching up with people and dancing so didn't bother buying a drink. So, unexpected # 11 / 15 captured yesterday :j

Need to get petrol and groceries today from my weekly budget so definitely no NSD today

Have a good Sunday everyone :D
