Evening Gang
Hope everyone is well. It's been humid and grey here. Very little sun at all. Another busy week at work but at least mangeable
There is a little more good news from the Candlewick household this evening. I am on a bit of a roll (with one minor hiccup) after April's disasters.
- My appraisal went well
- I indicated to my landlord on Tuesday that I would finally be giving him notice when my break clause kicks in, in 5 months time (after living here for a few years) because I am finding things a bit difficult at the moment, I wasn't happy with the previous increase in rent and my boyfriend and I would like to live nearer one another (he owns so it's easier for me to move) and because I'm a reliable and good tenant, he has agreed to a rent reduction of £40 per month if I stay for the full year. I have already amended my SO for next month. I do like my own space afterall
- I have officially been released from hospital care and all is well.
- I am on NSD 12. Target met
Freeby, can I please increase my target to 14?
- Being back at work has helped me to reduce my spending this month and my spending diary is still being kept up to date 6 months into the year shock, horror.
The hiccup is ..... I went overdrawn at the beginning of the week, only by about £8 but overdrawn nonetheless. I meant to transfer some money from my small emergency savings account but forgot because I was too tired and went to bed. I was mortified the next day when I logged on to see a minus but it has now been rectified. Fortunately, it was an authorised overdraft but I must be more careful in future.
I am hoping for at least another 2 NSDs this month if I am careful.
Have a great weekend everyone.
