For anyone who was interested in hearing the reply from SSM about the change over dates on ssm. Here is their reply

[FONT=Arial, sans-serif]We do not have a regular schedule for when coupons are updated or changed on SSM, our best suggestion for you would be to check our website periodically so that you don’t miss out on our promotion updates.
Thank you for your interest in our products.

The reason that people on the extreme couponing show get 1k worth of stuff for cents and the store managers are so happy to see them is because the whole programme is fake and staged. TLC have been in trouble over faked shows and this is one of them. Many of the coupons used in the programme are fraudulent as well. Just google 'extreme couponing fraud' to see examples. Apparently their ratings have plummeted to a couple of hundred thousand. Couponing in the US isn't what it's cracked up to be, they don't have coupon inserts/leaflets in all areas, many store chains no longer double coupons and some chains such as Walmart have introduced really strict rules as to the number of coupons that can be used in a day by a customer. Many of my friends in the US coupon but they don't save any more than you would here, and a lot don't bother because in their particular area couponing is really crap, also aside from some corn, wheat and dairy based products that are heavily subsidised by the US government food and groceries are very expensive in most areas in the US. A jar of pasta sauce that would cost £1.50 here costs at least $5 over there. A lot of breakfast cereals are $5-$8 for not a very big box. Xx

sorry Princess, we knew that. It was a topic of discussion frequently on the printable coupon thread. They don't often have many new coupons and they restrict the printing probably due to coupon fraud, etc hence why they don't issue new ones or reset very often.

myrtletutle does update the first posts when ssm reset the vouchers/issue new ones - not frequently.

you are asking about other sites that offer coupons....

there are lists on the printable coupon thread which has been around for a long time, think since 2005 originally! The thread has evolved from when it first started and the first few posts although long cover the majority of coupons/vouchers available out there.

You can google and search for printable coupons, coupons, etc. and you will find other sites like magic freebies will mostly have the same as our, there was a time when there was a very unique coupon that offered you the product free, moneyback and a coupon that I found on a site.

It was only ever posted on mse, and then suddenly found it's way to a couple of the other sites... who made it look like they had been offered to stock the coupon, but they hadn't.

So you can keep looking for more coupon sites, but suggest your first point of call is the printable coupon thread.

After that, try facebook, type in different manufacturer's and see if they have any fb pages, and then check individually if they are offering any coupons/vouchers.

This is what people here on mse do, and when they find them they post on the coupon thread/grabbit/shopping thread, so it is usually shared by everybody.

You could do the same with twitter too.

good luck in your coupon hunting.

If you're on facebook, the Extreme Couponing UK page is fantastic for finding coupons as and when they're released. There's always someone updating the page with new coupon finds or deals that get you even more money off with existing coupons - I visit the page daily and it's helped me loads!
