    I think they have already emailed it, is it no good that way? He cant say he didnt recieve it from 4 of them. If they don't get a conformation email in a 2 or 3 days they will have to get it posted or delivered by hand. The office is manned all the time its a family business his mother is there everyday

    Emailed should be fine; but if they don't get a response they can't prove he's had it. But if they get a response make sure they keep the email so that they can prove he's had it.

    After 4 months of getting nowhere with my son's deposit refund of £480.00 I threatened with a small claims action backed up by advice from the citizens advice bureaux on their website which I downloaded and pointed out my son's rights.
    I had a discurteous e-mail back saying there was no need for me to suggest that there was some kind of a 'scam' going on with these agencies that rent accommodation to students. Nevertheless £480 pounds was transferred into my son's account the following day.
    This inicident was in Birmingham.
