I think it's a lovely ring & all the more special because of how you've saved for it x

What about this one? A bit more diamond in it

The other thing I'd say is make sure you know your wife's ring size as some styles are difficult to resize.

Has your wife got her ring yet, OP? I'm dying to hear how thrilled she was!
  • I think it looks gorgeous. As long as you think your Wife will love it then I don't see that how much it has cost will matter at all. I hope she's thrilled with whatever you choose and it's a lovely gesture for you to have cut out so many little things in order to afford something lovely for your wife. Let us know what she thought if you went for it!!!

I'm sure she'll be thrilled. Is it a surprise?

    My OH got me this

It looks good in the picture, but even better when you see it for real in the sunlight.

Hi OP, I hope you checked what size she was first :) I think the ring is lovely and the way you saved is really sweet. She'll love it as it's from the heart. The only thing to be wary of with those types of settings is the stones can come loose (I used to work in a jewellers when I was at university). If the white gold starts to discolour she can always have it redone in a jewellers also, we used to do a lot of these and they came back good as new.

I love the way you've saved for this - the only thing harder than diamond is paying for it. I hope she's as smitten as we are!
