  • evening all.... hope everyone is well. had my midwife app today she is lovely and the student midwife she had with her was lovely too..... the midwife said there is no reason why i can't have another natural birth ... was so worried after GP's telling me i would have to have a section due to my condition .. obv things could change but fingers crossed all will be ok and a natural birth will go ahead ... im being referred to the consultant led team so will see a consultant team, GP and midwife during this pregnancy ... the referral is so they can keep a closer eye on baby as my son was born with a birth defect and had an operation at 5/ 6 months old .. he is fine now but the midwife said they will probably do extra scans etc ... so we can try and find out as much as possible and weather this baby has it too so its not so much of a shock when baby is born if it does,,, as long as baby is ok i dont care how many extra app's i have to have

flylady wise .... i have 1 load to go in the WM tomorrow and some washing up to do and whatever else i manage to get done

hugs to all that need/want one xx

Well, I'll be taking my cankles and my broken toe (I dropped a bedside cabinet on it!) to bed.. I just want to have a right old whingy moan.. which would be pointless as it would achieve nothing.. so I shall go to bed and start afresh on the flinging tomorrow!

I really want to get through that nasty cluttered landing tomorrow.. it is the bane of my life at the moment. It is much improved but still very much a full dumping ground.

Dot is being moved to the other bedroom on Friday so she has the weekend with just her and Squeak to get used to it before the 3 girls are back from KH's.

DD2 brought 4 loads of washing down today.. so she got to load the WM's before she went to bed :p

  • Ouch pigpen! You've done so well, so if you have to rest up a while with the "toe" situation, so be it. Promise us all that you won't do the laundry for your DD, eh? The landing CAN wait. You have ages until your birth date so a few days won't matter.

    Belated birthday wishes to mummyyof5.

Dancemum - been in your situation for the past couple of years with my OH so know how hard it is to cope in this situation. I'm thinking of you both right now. If I can help, I'm always here xx

Pinkfairy - what is PRN? I'm having a "doh" moment.

If I've missed anyone else in the spoons/hugs department, I apologise.

Must go to sleep now - I'm working all day tomorrow and out on a Mystery Shopping assignment tomorrow night. Why do I agree to these things? Oh, because I am skint, that's why!

Not much flying has been accomplished here, been at horsepiddle today for me jaws......only to find out that I am not ready for surgery as the feasibility study has come back to show the last 9 months of adjustments have been done the wrong way for the positions where they want to break my jaws, which is coincidentally when my Orthodontist changed.

So I had an hour in the chair today, having teeth filed, brackets repositioned and my whole mouth rewired so tight I cannot chew a thing!

I now have to have 3 visits for teeth filing and un-doing all the last 9 months of crippling adjustments before I can have my next feasibility study......so absolutely no chance of my jaw surgery this summer while DD1 is around to help out.

Going downstairs in a mo to inhale a milkshake seeing as I can't eat, and may see what flying I can do that doesn't make the pain worse.

Ho hum, all fun and games

Hugs, stick and spoons for everyone in need, in the jar please help yourselves
The cold never bothered me anyway

    Morning All

I woke up at 3.45 to go to the loo and then couldn't get back to sleep again. So I put the TV on about 4.30 and I've put my nets back up but that's about it.

The settee is in the middle of the LR as I'd moved it to get to the windows and I couldn't see the point in putting it back last night as I'd have to move it again this morning to put the nets back up but I want to hoover where it goes first and it's a bit early for that really.

Piggers - maybe you ought to stay off your feet as much as possible to rest your toe.

Skinty - hope you're not in too much pain.

Right I'll go and find a list.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Jue

I'm going to concentrate on the downstairs this week apart from the bathroom and changing the beds but I've already done the kids' bedding and I'll do mine today. Kids have done some tidying in their rooms but DD knocked DS's hamster food over in his BR last night which is all over his clothes so that needs sorting out.

    Other jobs to do:
    Ring Unity
    Sort car ins
    Dad's birthday cards
    Beaver planning meeting @ 3.30
    Plan for Cubs
    Email Jenny

Right I think I'll start off deleting some emails while I'm sitting here.

    Morning all x

    Thanks for your support.

Breakfast prepared one boy is still in bed

Ds1 has dentist this morning them I'm off to buy a bathroom. I was a little worried about using money we may need given the circumstance, but it is desperate as its held together with duck tape. Still feel in shock.

I've deleted a couple of hundred emails - still loads to do but hey!

Boys are up and have woken the girls up (at 6.40, they weren't impressed) so the boys are having breakfast and I've sent the girls back to bed.
