    Son and girlfriend are on holiday in Florida at the moment - where they first met 5 years ago on their university placement - Son proposed last night and luckily she said YES!! Think I may need to join in the diet - although got 2 years to lose weight - they don't do anything in a hurry!!!

    Congratulations, will they go there to get married, good excuse for a holiday.

    Hello, It worked for me last week. I'm going to try it again tomorrow. It is not listed as in the offer in store, so you need to go and find it in the wine section. Don't forget, you can also buy 2 desserts instead of 1 dessert & 1 veg. At least you could last week, so probably still fine.


    I don't know about the 2 desserts - but 2 veg dishes certainly work.

    I sinned last night and ate a whole mahoosive bag of Sada crisps/snack things, so first thing in the morning I went to the gym and tortured myself to a full 90 minutes of interval training. That will teach me eh?

    My main problem is grazing like a cow all day long. If I manage to do the 500 (just thinking of 500 is giving me heart palpitations so I might go up to 750 calories) for 2 days a week, it will be "goodbye blubber, hello cheekbones" again. How exciting.

    I had a VERY nasty moment in Sainsbury's car park yesterday ! The 2 BM's that I was planning to use (£4 & £9.45 !!!) expired on 13/6. I rarely use Sainsbury and kind of assumed that they were valid for a month like T's and A's. After going hot and cold all over and ranting at my DH (who wasn't at all sympathetic) I went to the CS desk with my tale of woe and they tried them through their till. It rejected them but the very helpful staff member told me to try them through the actual tills, preferably self scan, as she thought they might go through OK. They worked - although the SS super had to approve them due to the value. I'm not sure if she realised they were out of date though. I used them to get a dress - which I promptly took back to CS to the same really helpful staff member who refunded the lot onto a gift card.

    It might be worth trying yours through the SS tills - depends whether they need to be authorised and whether you get an alert trout.

    As a dude, the minimum you should go down to is 600

    Sugar free jelly. I make it with lemonade or whatever and add a few grapes, strawberries, raspberries, mandarins or tinned pineapple.

    I can see that this is going to be my saviour on fasting days :)

    I'm relying on what loads of other people are saying about fasting days getting easier :o

    Hi mimi1234, I thought you were a bloke? If so, you get 600 calories.
