Love hearing back from purpledonkey 'on the ground' as she finds an entire shelf of crackers. I hope she manages to get all of those crackers for the big *cough* meeting we have on Monday.
:rotfl:
In all seriousness this is gonna be so good for so many people. Grinning from ear to ear and giggling to myself as I shop vicariously through her!
I wish you were there, that was the most fun I've ever had in a Tesco (I really need a proper job!).
Evening all! I hope you're all well and it's not raining where you are. Spent this week working for 4 days on a food programme, then rushing back yesterday to make 100 cupcakes and a giant cupcake for my friend's wedding today. Have not had a lot of sleep at all and I'm very much looking forward to not getting up early tomorrow. On my way back from Twickenham I spotted a Tesco and dashed in. Found 17 boxes of crackers and grabbed them all. It drew quite a lot of attention so I called EMMAP and pretended they were for work (she just laughed down the phone). The guy at the self service check out saw me struggling and helped me carry the boxes. I thought he wouldn't let me take them after he saw they scanned at a penny, but instead he laughed and told me about all the 1p bargains he found including a £50 leather jacket a couple of months back. He was so sweet. I said I needed 30 for *ahem* work and he asked the manager for more! They said they were discontinued but still had a good look anyway. Honestly it was the nicest Tesco I've ever been in. I can't wait to take all these spoils to the food bank next week :j'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
QOC can we switch positions on the list? You can become #1 and I will go in at #2. Everyone is coming to you to put their names on and you are basically the boss. Can we swap?
Also, is everyone going to write their current weight down tomorrow? That way you can check how much you have lost each week etc.
And finally, don't forget to take a photo of yourselves showing all your curvy/generous parts. No, don't worry, you don't need to post them on here (unless you want to!). Normally, at gyms they say take a photo of you before the regime starts, that way even if you might not lose lbs on the scales, your body might look less voluptious and more muscled and you will be able to see it. It helps you keep the diet/regime going instead of packing it in because the lbs are not going down.
I sinned last night and ate a whole mahoosive bag of Sada crisps/snack things, so first thing in the morning I went to the gym and tortured myself to a full 90 minutes of interval training. That will teach me eh?
Hope everyone has had a good day. The weather has been so on and off. Wish it would either just rain or not!0 -

Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome:)
I will try my best to post:) I get loads out of this this thread and hope I can give something back.
Queen of Cheap - thanks for adding me to the list and also your very helpful post.:T
Just weighed myself and worked my weight loss goal. :eek:Seems quite daunting but I am going to break it down into mini 7lb goals as suggested by Queen of Cheap.
I have been stuck indoors since Monday as I have not been feeling 100% but hoping to be back to normal by Monday as I really want a fresh start with the healthy eating. I haven't cooked all week as I have lost my appetite but have been eating rubbish food just for the sake of it as I have a funny taste in my mouth that I want to get rid of.
On the plus side, not going out has meant no spending for nearly a week; not even been tempted by online sales.:T:T
I will however need to venture out to Mr T tomorrow as I have a conditional spend to use and a few mocs and am hoping to generate a PP. I will need to double check prices again as I compiled the list on Monday.
Got the Buzz Campaign for Compeed Blister Plasters this morning. :T They will no doubt come in handy when I start wearing my new shoes.
I have been loving the gardening talk and pictures - inspired me to tackle my own garden and its looking a lot more respectable for the first time in ages. I think I left it a bit late, was waiting for the weather to perk up! I have started small, just a few plants in pots this year and hopefully bigger and better in the future.
I tried the salt and vinegar treatment for weeds and must say it worked a treat on my patio area which was horrendously overgrown. What better way to use up all the SP vinegar that I'd collected during the great Sada APG fiasco. Happy days...:T:T:TElite 5:2 #32 0/27 lbs so far0 -

If it is working I thought it might be useful to get to £40 to use my £5 CS voucher. Does anyone know?I am not young enough to know everything.0 -
