6 months we've had a dolce gusto machine. Not once have i seen it oriced at anything other than £3.77 for the pods in any supermarket. EVER

Got one of these from Buzz - thought we'd put it aside once the pods were used up and wait for supermarket own ones to come out. Still waiting  The copyright has GOT to run out some time!

    Evening all

Getting in the 5:2 mood. Just bought lots of peach fizzy water from s and some fruit teas. Thought might be better to stock up bit by bit so feels like using things I would normally use not special stuff I have had to go out and buy. Also retreived porridge oats from back of store cupboard, think I need to try with honey.
I am all right all day, its the hour or so before I go to sleep when everything goes wrong so decided need strawberries and low fat muller yogurt and might just survive. As the book says I can tell myself I can have everything I crave when I wake up.

FC I voted when I saw your post this morning. Great idea.

Evening. Today was a 500cal day for me and to give some inspiration/advice to all the 5:2'ers ;) this is what I've had:

    8am - cup of tea
    9am - cup of tea
930am - black coffee (very rock and roll so far :rotfl:)
    1130am - half a banana approx 50 cals and 20 grapes/100g 66cals
    Lots of water
    2 herbal teas
530pm - dinner of baked cod (in tin foil with slices of lemon and black pepper) 100g =80 cals, loads of green veg and half a pack of ainsley Harriet cous Cous (mint, lemon and parsley flavour) 80 cals

If I feel the need to scoff in front of the tv later, I'll treat myself to 20 grapes or a kiwi :rotfl:

A tip I read was to freeze grapes and when you eat them, they will feel like boiled sweets. Do they booger feel like boiled sweets, they feel like frozen grapes!! Best of luck to you all

For those who haven't got the fast diet book, I got mine from A for £4 a while back. Towards the end, there are quick guides to how many cals are in most foods and its definitely worth buying. Also, make sure you weigh everything. :D

Silly question but I assume that you don't have sugar in your tea. Anyone know how many calories in a spoon of sugar. Thank you in advance.
