If you pay 10p in T for a whoopsie but item is £2 in A why shouldn't they compare it? Its a saving you made by shopping at T

    Just buy whoopsies separately. ;)

I know it is a saving made that day but I still don't think it is a fair comparison to what would be a longer dated product in As. It is not a truly like for like comparison.

Thanks, claire. Each plant has a couple on. I just found it weird as last years' were like the normal tomato flowers.

I havn't even got 1 flower yet on my normal tomatoes. Have a couple on my cucumbers. Not in a greenhouse but indoors infront of patio doors. Started off in small plastic greenhouse in January so planted early enough. On the plus side mine were nearly all dead this time last year as managed to drown them outside.

Howdy peeps. How are we all?

I was just going to say, I know it's meant to be 500 calories on the fast days but if someone thinks they may struggle, you could always up it to 750 or 1000 on the fast days. Sure, you won't see as much of a result but don't make yourself ill! You could always try 750/1000 and then try and reduce it to 500 calories on a fast day as time goes on.

I'm on the ball today. Managed to glug 1.5 litres of water (not fizzy pop), stayed away from junk last night and today and I even had a banana. Get me indeed!

If anyone wants to try a bit of exercise, interval training is very good to shock the system. Basically, you can do it with any exercise. For example, running. You run for 2 minutes and then walk for 2 minutes and so on for about 20 minutes. I've just done that at the gym and now my legs are like jelly! :(

Just been to the gym and weighed myself and I have already lost 4lb. Not sure where that has gone since Tuesday! :D:D

Roll on Monday! Wooohoo. Let's make ourselves #fit.

Hi Mimi1234, and the others starting the 5:2 diet. I think the suggested cals per day on fast days are 500 for women and 600 for men. Breakfast and an evening meal but no lunch is suggested for best effect. Drink lots of water. Fast days can be any 2 ( or 3 ) non-consecutive days per week.. Non-fast days you can eat anything. Really. Makes the fast day a little easier when you know that you can have those goodies tomorrow instead! I found the Horizon programme (google Horizon eat, fast and live longer) was particularly interesting, as it tells of all the other benefits you get. Weight loss is just one aspect. Lower blood pressure and a lessening of pre-diabetes indicators in the blood just 2 more.Well worth a watch!
I am not young enough to know everything.
