Quick. Check your email. I finally got accepted on BZZZ campaign after waiting for months and months.
This 5 : 2 is not going to happen with me I don't think. I walked past a takeaway on my way home from work and I ended up with fast food in my hands and tummy! I tried my best but could not resist!

Evening paw sniffers,
I've hid the car keys so I can't go shopping tonight.
I need absolutely nothing. In fact I could spend a very productive evening, meal planning for the next 3 months with what I have in the cupboards.
But first off to read my blogs:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Morning all
Hoping for a better day today. Yesterday was truly awful
Hospital appt did not go at all as expected. I had been told I was going there to discuss pros/cons of radiotherapy now that cancer was not active but the lump was still there.
They disagreed entirely with what I was told on the phone about my scan results. Apparently there was still 'uptake' in the area of the tumour and so we cannot say it is inactiveThey also disagreed that there was any debate as to whether I have radiotherapy. So got planning scan tomorrow and will likely start in a couple of weeks. Will be a logistical nightmare as every day for 3 weeks and only done in Cambridge. Will have to figure it out though....
Congrats to Bananababe on the house and Tiger on passing the Spanish exam [/QUOTE
So sorry to hear this logie. Wish there was something practical I could do to help but if it's positive thoughts and good wishes you need we have them here and plenty of them. Hope you manage to sort out your childcare out. Will you be able to go near the boys after you've had the therapy? Massive hugs Caz0 -

Must admit to you all, I have been sort of sort of doing this, since I saw that programme on tele 'Horizon;Eat,Fast and Live longer' by Michael Mosley...Got some of me relatives on it too, and they and I have found, it's a great way to maintain weight as well as lose. and by that I mean lose every single week!! I highlighted that so those of you who may be dithering on joining this Elite 'fat club' the lurvly QOP or Mimi? has started...dither no more, join up, you will lose minimum 2lbs a week, or even 4lbs when you start off doing this only 2 days per week. Lets do it:)

Evening all. I've been out all day (seeing a friends baby in Cambridge, lunch with OH then T). Just wanted to say to logie that today must have been very tough to hear, I really do hope that you get things sorted for child care for those 15 days. Dr Vs post really did sum it up :A

Big hugs to our :A Logie
Right, initial shock of different news over. I am glad you are able to leave kids with sister and drive to Cambs. What worries me is you driving there and back. After RT would you feel up to driving back, or indeed should you be? Are you able to find out if transportation can be organised for you?
If I have to, I ask me sis to help in any way she can. How many miles from the hospital in Cambridge are you?
Addenbrooke's is a great hospital and they will look after you. A relative of mine was treated there when I lived in Cambridge.
Bug hugs, stay positive. We are all rooting for you, from day one and in fact from the moment you posted about the diagnosis. I remember replying 1 minute after. Stay very positive, I know I am for you:) x x:eek:FunkyFeet:eek:Elite 5:2 #190 -
