DS2s teacher asked to speak to me when I picked him up. She rather uncomfortably explained that I 'still' hadn't paid £10 needed for an activity that he's been doing at school...a musical thing.
I had no earthly idea what she was on about:o Im usually on the ball with any money needed for school stuff. She said she'd given him an initial letter and 2 reminders. I explained that Id not had any of them whilst he was stood there looking like an :A
He finally admitted he'd deliberately put them in the bin because I am always telling him that we need to save money. So no letters means I won't have to pay, therefore he's saved us some money. Simple! And he thought I should be pleased with him:rotfl::rotfl:
Bless him:)0 -

Afternoon!
Alright, who told 10 ways about the crackers? Bloomin' students will have 'em allI didn't find any in the two mr ts I went to but will still keep an eye out.
I managed to get the free popcorn from Blockbuster today after a bit of faffing. Also used my M&S voucher to buy some whoopsied food and a nice bottle of vino for my Mum. So a pretty MSE day all told.
And very weirdly got a text from the woman who interviewed me on Tues saying she liked my work and she'll get back to me soon? So no idea what's going on!Debt free 6th December 2014

Does anyone know where I can get fresh WHITEBAIT from? Gordon Ramsay did a recipe today and it was very nice indeed. I know I could try a fishmonger in a supermarket but WHITEBAIT does seem a specialist fish.
Also, at ex Netto Sada's I saw a whole heap of FROZEN SAUSAGE / BURGER / PORKY things (didn't pay much attention as I do not eat meat) on RTC. So do have a look if you are next in. There were shed loads of DOLMIO / LLOYD GROSSMAN and various other cooking sauces down to 25p or 50p.0 -
Afternoon all !
Finally got round to to sorting out all of last months wombles. An amazingly good month, one that will probably never be repeated. Just have to figure out how to spend them now.
Keep checking the multi-buys, but nothing showing. Could do with some good non-perishable or wine glitches, it seems to have gone v quiet
£289.57 wombles, £15.35 c/b, £10 Love To shop Voucher, 3m OF silver wrapping paper and 12 x tins of Pedigree Chum.....fussy cat won't touch it :rotfl:
Trying to achieve £5 per day average in wombles. So far so good this month0 -

Has anyone else tried the coke zero today at sainsburys to see if it is fixed yet, and not still working due to computer delays?
Also, question for David. (or anyone else really!), I have a £50 payment in TCB, I want tesco CC points with it, but have already had £10 worth, so cant have another £50 worth, is there any way I can just cash out a tenner then convert the other £40 into CC points? Only way I can see to do it is donate a tenner to charity. Many thanks!“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
