Morning all. Can I join the fat club too please? I gave 5:2 a go earlier in the year and lost a couple of pounds. Need to get my mojo back.

Had fun in Leeds yesterday. I was waiting at the station for my train home to be announced and got chatted up, if you can call it that, by an older, drunkish bloke who claimed to be gay and just wanted someone to talk to. He wanted to buy me a spritzer in Wetherspoons and when I turned that down, offered a bucket of KFC instead lol.

Pmsl, bet he's beating the girlies off with sticks with lines like that. Who could resist??!!!

    You did right???:rotfl:

    Good morning:)

Also dull and drizzly here. We had heavy rain in the night so the garden should have had what it needs. I would like the sun back now please :D

    Good morning everyone

i haven't been around for such a long time - DS2 closed the lid on my netbook with a remote in it so the screen got broken!! Thankfully DH is a wizz with technology and has got it fixed for me.

Does aloe vera keep slugs away?? I dont like/wont use slug pellets, incase the birds eat them, but think I may need something, oh, and a fence for the hound!

Saw this while I was having a catch up, we put coffee grounds round our plants to stop the slugs - they don't like the smell apparently. If you don't drink proper coffee, you can try asking in a coffee shop, I know when I worked in one before having children we had a kind of drawer thing we knocked the old grinds into.

Hope everyone has a good day and I'm going to try and stick around a bit more if you'll have me.

    Morning all

Logged in from work quickly to check for additions to fat club- i will add you all to the list when i get home later on :)

I am sort of starting today. I woke up this morning with THE most horrendous fat day :( I'm not fasting today but I am cutting down to maybe 1500 cals instead of the 5 million that I have been getting through lately!

Hope you all have a good day :D

If anyone is hoping to do a £20 BM shop in Sainsbobs then its always worth having a look at razors. Ive not had a look at mys this week but last week one razor was 12.99 but in Sada it was a fiver so if you bought this along with one original s..rice shower gel for £2 odd those 2 in itself gave a near full value BM. You then have to buy non branded sainsbobs own stuff to get your shop over twenty.

This is excellent if you need razors.

If you don't - well one high value item amongst a shop of very cheap items stands out like a sore thumb. Ideally you will have other items with matched prices and MOCs to go with them to bring your total down plus a conditional spend and some extra points till spits so your receipt looks very complicated. And if you pay with a combination of cash, gift cards and small value BMs then the CS person might be too confused to object - I generally ask for refunds onto a gift card anyway.
Also I only have 2 sainsbobs on my patch plus the occasional spare so I have to play very safe and only do maybe one return a month so my face does not get known :D

    Morning all

Lovely and sunny here today, in fact it's forecast to be in the 30s for about 2 weeks.....which is great news after all the storms and flash floods but I mean really, to start a band of hot weather 2 days before I come back home is just rude
