Lots of slug pellets & chunks of old aloe vera to tempt the slugs away - hope they survive their first night out alone ♥

Does aloe vera keep slugs away?? I dont like/wont use slug pellets, incase the birds eat them, but think I may need something, oh, and a fence for the hound!

Thats exactly what i have done with the ones I have planted straight in the garden, but the dog keeps wanting to play with them
