    :( :(

So the missus was told at work today that her team faces redundancies unless they can cut 20 hours

2 people on full time offered to drop a day amd 2 people on part time offered to drop half a day. Saving of 21 hours right there. Job done if management accept

One of the full timers has just called the wife and i'm hearing the wife say things like "well you have to do whats best for you" :(

I think she's changed her mind about cutting a day and wants to take her chance with avoiding redundancy

If the missus gets redundancy we're screwed and will have to sell the house within a matter of months because we sretched ourselves to buy it :(

Sorry to hear this :( such a hard position to be put it and one Ive been hearing about way too often lately. I hope things work out :A

Well since posting about the mosquito repellent wristbands I have done a bit of research. Still confused but it seems they are not that good. You need to use deet (whatever that is). Back to my research me thinks! Perhaps they night shift will be able to help me out.

Was going to post about avon skin so soft, but izzyb, commented on it below, I used this last year as I get eaten alive every year by the bloomin things, this works a treat.

When i went to Goa for the 1st time i got eaten alive, more than 50 mossie bites on my legs just in a 30-40 min transfer from airport and this contiued for 6 weeks:eek::eek:
Then i read about eating marmite, the next 3 times i went i got the oddbite! So if you like marmite eat loads for a few weeks before you go away:D

My OH and kids eat marmite all the time, and are never bitten, I can't stand the stuff and I am eaten alive.

Marmite contains b vits, and vit b12 which is supposed to help repel mossies. Worth trying this and mossy repellent and also the Avon skin so soft oil is supposed to repel mossies.

Second this, avon skin so soft, is good.
