Lapping up the sympathy y'all. Thanks.
DS is 10 now and is definitely better than he used to be,we've had many hospital day admissions with him because of this as his oxygen levels go low, but they always end up sending him home with no progress made.:(
They insist on giving him an inhaler which has no effect at all, but they don't seem to believe me. The last paeds doc seemed to think that its more of a trachea thing than a chest, but onwards we persist. I've been giving him manuka honey to see if that helps, might consider echinacea(sp?),anything natural to help alleviate the cough.
We so could do with some good weather, it would help so much.xx
Is it nights, could the oxygen levels be linked to sleep apnea.
Hope they can get to the bottom of it for him. xxx0 -

From the other side. Distant cousin was looking into adoption (after failed IVF attempts) and was told that they would be expected to maintain some contact with birth family.
I guess how much contact depends on the reason the children have been put up for adoption.
Poster called Mooloo on the marriage board has adopted her grandchild and is allowed to give the grandchild contact with her mother. Mooloo also has 1 or 2 grandchildren that she wasn't able to adopt herself and were taken away from their birth mother (a different child of Mooloo) and the family is allowed some contact with them.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I wonder if I could add a bit of water to it to make it go further. I have four bottles of the gear from Asda at 48p each. I have quite a large area;)
What's this with the vinegar thing. Why do you have to boil it first? For the last few years, Ive been using pickling vinegar with good results but I suppose asda vinegar is a lot cheaper. I put it in a washing up bottle with a bit of washing up liquid. The wul is suppose to help the vinegar stick to the greenery instead of going straight in the soil.0 -
