Options
The size of Cabin baggage does seem to be different for some airlines. There is not a standard size accross the board. Is there a web site anywhere that list the sizes of cabin baggage and the wight that is allowed on every airlines. Eg Ryanair cabin baggage size and weight is smaller than EasyJet. Thank you

Far from being comprehensive, Wikipedia has an article on the subject.

A good list. It's a shame this doesn't show the fees for exceeding the allowances. Can anyone beat Ryanair's £60 / 60 Euros?

Why not simply look up this info on the airline website? It's not hard to find and will be more reliable than numbers posted on an independent website.

He probably wants to see a comparison, either out of interest or to choose an airline with a more reasonable policy.

I agree with jpsartre - I'm not sure that I'd trust an impartial website to be completely up to date with any changes at the time I checked it - and I certainly wouldn't book a flight on the basis of what an impartial website said.

As I said above, it depends on the OP's objective. No doubt he would check an airline's web site before booking.

I get that but the info is still available on the airline's websites.

I'm sure that not everybody would check the airline website if they'd already checked information on an independant website.

I've read about a lot of people who, because they've travelled with x airline, they think the cabin baggage rules will be the same for all airlines so I wouldn't automatically agree with your 'No doubt the OP would check...' statement.

When taking hand baggage only we had always travelled by Easy Jet which also has no weight resrictions. We learnt, as a costly mistake, that some airlines hand baggage size allowance is smaller than Easy Jet. So I also think it would be very useful, as an quick reference point if there was a publish list of the size of hand baggage allowance comparrison site for at airlines departing from the UK
