I offer both, not one single person has opted to pay nearly double for Royal Mail yet
Its worth pointing out that everytime I have had hermes used, the seller hasnt specifically said they using hermes, they usually just put standard delivery or economy. Both are vague defenitions, to one seller economy could be royal mail 2nd class, to another it could be hermes.
Also quite often what I buy on ebay I am not flushed with choices, I tend to use ebay for hard to find items. Meaning generally its that seller or nothing.0 -

Their little card says "left in porch" I do not have a porch, I do have a bit of roof that overhangs the front door but it is most definitely not a "safe" place. Luckily mine is a very safe neighbourhood.
Recently they left a full size chain saw on the door step. It had to go back as it had been broken when dropped. I complained to the company about their poor delivery only for them to do the same with the replacement:mad:
Even living in a safe neighbourhood does not guarantee that an item will not be lifted from your doorway. I also live in a safe neighbourhood (if anywhere can actually be termed safe nowadays, but I understand what you mean in terms of decent neighbours) but our postman was telling us that someone in the next street only locks their inside door and leaves the storm doors open (bad practice) but the postman or other delivery people can leave parcels behind the storm doors. One parcel had been left there and disappeared and another parcel had been left also the same day so they reckon the second delivery person may have lifted the first parcel. They will never know for sure though. Also there are people who go around houses for various reasons (eg dropping off leaflets for stores, leaflets requesting charity bags of clothing etc, meter readers and the possibility of others) so never 100% safe to leave parcels outside someone's door. That is NOT delivery, it is just abandonment! They might be just as well to leave the item on the pavement!"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0
