Surely if the courier is shown as the carrier you wouldn't buy if you felt that way?
I am beginning to wonder if a user has been hacked by someone out to make mischief, as otherwise I would have to go and have a bit of a cry at how bad things are getting, common sense wise.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Like I said, they're all right, Britain is going the way of the States.0

It doesn't matter to me who delivers the parcels, as long as they get delivered...
Unfortunately, with Hermes they regularly don't, but buyers don't realise until they've tried a couple of times.
You'll definitely be losing business if you're only offering Hermes as an option. If I were you I'd let your buyer decide if they want to pay a bit more for Royal Mail, I always do.0 -

I offer both, not one single person has opted to pay nearly double for Royal Mail yetI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. UPDATE
Eventually, 16 days after MyHermes said they delivered my parcel, they have finally admitted it is in fact lost...
I only started using them after Royal Mail increased their prices by a ridiculous amount so now I am stuck. I won't use MyHermes again - who is the next cheapest courier?0 -

Unfortunately as you have found out, cheapest rarely means best or even better for that matter.
There is a thread on here specifically for courier details, it may be prudent to post on that.0 -

Hi everyone, I would love some advice please.
I sold an item on ebay and booked the delivery via MyHermes. After a week or so, I received a telephone call from Hermes asking me to clarify the address as the building had 3 flats. After contacting the buyer, he confirmed the flat number so I telephoned Hermes back to update them. After checking the tracking details, I saw that the parcel had been delivered a few days later and thought nothing more of it.
However, the buyer has now contacted me to say he still hasn't received his parcel and has checked with his neighbours and they haven't taken the parcel in for him either. (The parcel was marked as delivered a week ago).
Hermes are saying they have delivered it to the address I gave them. Any ideas what I should do next?
ship it again via proper courier and take it up with hermes for compensation (if they give any).
Take it on the chin and if you dont want this situation again pay more for shipping.UPDATE

why is cheap the only criteria?
is it cheap to lose parcels and lose reputation?0
