I called the EA and asked for an update.
They are "considering the offer" and waiting to see "what happens over the weekend" we should be told Wednesday. I guess they need to inform the family and let them think about it.

Found another property. It's had an offer already but as the vendor told us the offer wasn't "at the figure we have in mind".
we are going to put on an offer of 5% under the asking price. They have found a property and want this to be a quick sale. As we're FTB it might sway it for us.Oxfordmark
