Try to do things to take your mind off it. We had to wait 3 days as everything had to go through solicitor (it was a probate sale) When we made previous offers on other properties we usually heard back the same day though so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! It's really nerve racking isn't it :)

I made the offer at 0950 then at 1230 got an email with a letter stating the offer had been submitted to the seller...

The sellers may be at work, so you will probably have to wait till tomorrow at least.

    Good luck.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I got a PDF saying the offer had been submitted to the client a good 2 hours after i made it. Would an Estate Agent leave a voicemail with the offer?

No I did not want to appear too eager. In the end we carried on looking as I didn't want to waist time and had booked more appointments to view. So when they rejected it we had another load of houses to view and in the end decided we would rather try for one of those than bid more.:o

It's likely they will think about the offer over the weekend. I was left messages when offers were made and to call the ea back, I suspect you won't hear anything now until Tuesday.

Suppose it's a good thing. If the offer was to low they would of flat out rejected it.
