The price though is £0.00 when you order one.
Can't help but think back to the free flights offer which screwed Hoover over in the early 1990's. But then you had to buy a Hoover (with real ££ !!) then claim your flights. My Gran & Grandad got 2 return tickets to NYC out of that one.

The price IS NOT £0.00 , it has no price on the offers page so how do you know what the price actually is ? If it came up as £299 in your basket would you proceed ? I don't think you would .

The system is defaulting to £0.00 because it has no price to go on . Add some of the others to your basket , the price you see is the price you pay .

There is no chance of this coming off in my opinion because it has no offer price to consider .

Well we'll have to agree to differ ;)
But try it yourself ... you get to the order summary and it does give you the total cost ... amounting to a grand total of £0.00 and not just a blank space.

I have tried it & it does indeed state a total cost of £0.00 because there is no alternative price input on the system . If you went to a shop , saw the sticker on the shelf edge with no figures on it , what do you do ?

You ask for the price that should be displayed otherwise you don't know how much it is . I do believe that in consumer law that a price must be assigned to an item so you can tender your offer that the shop will consider , they do NOT have to sell it to you . In this case there is no price on offer .

We'll find out sometime in the next 24 hrs anyway .

Well if you saw a vacuum in a shop with a blank price sticker you'd ask an assistant "how much is that vacuum ?". If the assistant came back to you and said "it costs £0.00" and took your card details i'd be wanting to walk out the door with my "purchase" ....

Listen I'm no more optimistic than anyone else. But nothing ventured nothing gained :)

Where does it show £0? Do you have to go through the checkout process and card details before it shows?

    Can anyone help here?

In this case though the assistant doesn't know the price , can't find out but more than likely wouldn't sell you it at £0.00 , just like this one isn't going too .
