The Nexus phones are those Android phones launched by Google themselves.
  • I recently brought the s3 because of the external memory option and I am starting to regret it as I have only had the phone a week and already it keeps freezing or will not turn on even on a full battery. I liked the s3 but these problems are making me think prehaps I should of got the Nexus 4.

I have had my gs3 for about 8mths and updated it with all the updates and its been brilliant

I must admit it did freeze once and it was the SD memory card not fast enough i changed it to a better card and its worked fine since.

For the cost and high spec the Nexus 4 can't be beaten. As said buy the 8gb or 16gb (£239/279) and stick in a cheap 30 day rolling sim only deal. I'm currently paying £10p.m with Tesco and getting 500 mins, 5000 txts and 1gb of data. There are other deals out there so have a good look. Some have said stay away from the N4 because it doesn't have an SD card slot but with Dropbox and Box (they are giving 50gb for free at present when you sign up) there are plenty of storage options. Also if you think your tempted by using 4G the N4 doesn't have it. Again some say bad mistake by LG/Google not to include it but with HSPA+15 available on most networks it seems fast enough for me.
