    What do you mean?

In the same way hacked credit card accounts are often looted by losing games on online poker to your associates to transfer money.

You sell an item on ebay at an inflated price, the buyer being an associate who has hacked an ebay/paypal account and spends that persons money on the inflated item. The money gets transferred from the hacked account into an account you can withdraw funds from

I see what you mean now. Yes it is just another method of money laundering.

But money laundering this way will lose you a lot of money after you have paid the ebay fees and paypal fees.

Money laundering often does lose money. But I suppose it's better to get some money, than end up in prison, and lose the lot.

If they have taken over someone else's ebay account / paypal it's a way of emptying that account and possibly a bank account attached to it.

    I would never money launder.

By the way, I'm selling a Bic biro on ebay for £17,000 if anyone is interested?
