The seller's other item on sale: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LADYS-PERFUMS-/230985812205?pt=UK_Mobile_Phones&hash=item35c7d3c8ed
Looks rather strange too!0 -
There is something distinctly fishy here!Thinking critically since 1996....0

And it's not me!One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

I strongly suspect that is a non-paying bidder and you will see the item back for sale from the same seller. You find a large proportion of newbie users think they are just putting things in their basket, sometimes to see what the shipping is, and have no idea how eBay works. Anyone want to place a bet?Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. One word - weird
Either that, or just plain stupid.0 -
OMG!! :eek::eek:
LG Optimus L3 E400 - 1 GB - White (Unlocked) Smartphone: £1,750.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Worth around £100 at the most, maybe a bit more?

Defo scammer alert surely? Shocking.
EDIT: Could this be the one OP was taking about & has now been re-listed for a daft price? Although in the original listing it say the phone was black, & this one is white, but shows the same photo as OPs link....0 -

Yes, and that is not it.
A money launderer would not take such a bit hit, that is a phone readily available from other sellers at around £60-£80 delivered, they would not make that sort of mistake.
I think it most likely is money laundering.
The buyer and seller are probably the same person. So they have just laundered £600.0 -

I'm tempted to stick in a 99p bid on the pink Nokia so it loses it's BIN and then see what the seller does :-P• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.0 -
