I change providers nearly every year lol. And always get cashback too I'm sad enough to almost look forward to renewal time and try and get my payments down

Awesome work on the insurance I2U!! My outlook is completely changed these days too and it feels so good to feel you've got a deal!!:money:
Hooray, it's nearly payday!:j:j0 -

Yay it's pay day and I transferred my CC debt payment as soon as the cash hit my account to avoid any temptation and updated my signature :j
Unfortunately it looks like July will be a really expensive month. Car Insurance, TV License, Home Insurance are all due
But having managed to reduce the Car Insurance significantly the Home Insurance is next on my hit list
I probably won't be able to put much into savings this month but at least I'm still on track for my DFD.0 -
Hi I2U

Hi Brizzle
Yes all's good thanks. Just back from a week away with work so trying to get over jetlag at the moment. Spent too much while I was away as well but as I'm not going on holiday this year I thought I had to treat myself a little bit
Nothing much to report on the money saving side apart from reduced my home insurance renewal quote from £198 to £94 and got a 1000 nectar points by using the confused website :j
Have a great week and enjoy the sunshine everyone :cool:0 -
Well done! That's some decrease!
Take it easy

Well I am officially skint for the rest of the month but I've managed to pay for the TV License, Car Insurance, Home Insurance and my trip away without incurring anymore debt. No chance of any cash being added to the savings pot this month and I'll probably have to survive on beans on toast for the rest of July  but next month should be better, fingers crossed0

Almost the end of the month thank goodness :j Have managed to avoid a beans on toast only diet but it's been close a couple of times LOL. Roll on pay day and the next payment to the Credit Card, have a great weekend everyone.0

Well it's nearly 6 months after my LBM  and I've reached a milestone.
I started with £10,500 debt @19% interest and £0 in savings.
Today I'm at £5433 debt @ 0% interest and £561 savings.
So I've paid off just over half my debt, if I include my savings, which I can always put to the 0% debt if needed and am still on track to pay off all my debt in another 9 months, just before my 0% rate ends :T
I won't pretend it's been the easiest journey so far but to anyone just starting out on their debt busting journey or to those of you like me, that have the occasional wobble along the way. I can only recommend sticking at it, thinking of that eventual debt free day and using the brilliant advice and support on this forum. Thanks to all DFW's and I remain (as ever) Indebted To You all :beer:0
