I dropped an e-mail to the company to say thank you and point out how professional the last engineer was. As I really believe in rewarding good customer service. I got a letter today to say thank you for my nice comments that have been passed on to the engineer and apologising for the blockage. Oh and they will reimburse me for a years waste water charges :T
Thank you Karma
Amazing what a a small gesture can do.........we all ought to do more of it:)Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Hi all
I may have finally discovered my MSE womble:rotfl:
After reading so many posts about the legendary yellow labels at Mr T, I visited the hallowed aisle late last night and was frankly amazed at some of the bargains to be had. Of course the previous LBM Indebted2U would have either turned up their nose at such things (erm don't ask me why, the food was all in date, just much cheaper than usual, I know, I was that non MSE idiot) Or if I'd somehow gotten over Yellow Label Fever, I would have undoubtedly bought loads more stuff than I needed, convincing myself I'd got a bargain. Before chucking it in the bin a day or two later. So I bought only things I needed, not wanted and have restocked my shelves for another week.
So thank you fellow DFW's. I am slowly getting there and quite enjoying the journey of money saving discovery. I didn't even have a clubcard a couple of months ago
I've also made my first payment to my ISA, as the CC debt is now all on 0% and [STRIKE]due to[/STRIKE] will be payed off before the deal expires. It's really nice to see a positive balance for once.
Right off to mow the lawn and pack my bags for another week awaybefore the Canadian Grand Prix starts on the box. :j

Not too bad a week.
I managed to keep all my spending under control and spent only on essentials, basically food and petrol.
I also came home today to the Water Company's rebate cheque, following my blocked drains a few week ago.
I paid it straight into my bank account and that's an unexpected extra £240 towards this months savings :j0 -
:j:j:j Good going I2U!!0

Was in my Local Mr T's earlier, as the road is being dug up to the big one and couldn't face the 5 mile detour. I was just about to put something in my basket when I noticed the mythical Yellow Label man hovering over my shoulder. I put down the item and he immediately repriced it with a wonderful Yellow Label. Long story short, I followed him around the store for 10 mins and picked up some bargains. LOL How my sending habits have changed :rotfl:0

Not much debt busting to report but on the money saving front I had a large latte paid for by my boss this morning. My lunch tab was picked up by work and tonight's dinner was leftovers, so at least it was an NSD :j Felt as if my plan to move home nearer to work was as far away as ever however.:( So poured over the spreadsheet, checked my debt pay off app, looked at my diary on here and told myself I was in a much better position than only a few months ago and voila positivity restored. Probably only the first of many wobbles but reading all of the other DFW Diaries really helps focus the mind
So thank you fellow wannabes and I remain forever Indebted 2U0 -

Not the greatest money saving week but I didn't accrue any more debt and have put some work expenses in for payment, as every little helps
Suppose I'm just settling in for the long haul of debt busting now. At least I can see light at the end of the tunnel and have updated my signature to show my Debt Free Date. Hopefully I might be able to shave a month or two off it?
Have a great weekend one and all, it's pay day next week, :j0
