Totally agree with you some fun is allowed on this journey. A visit to a nursing home for Dementia yesterday puts things into perspective. Got a few nights away and gigs planned this month without feeling guilty.
Haven't done a great deal of exercise this weekend back still tad delicate. This morning felt better but got up late and ran up the hill with dog so no excuses from now on. Poor you knees can be a problem perhaps low impact exercise better?LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Not too bad a week, several NSD's and a couple of lunches on expenses :j My debt free day seems as far off as ever but I know I'll get there eventually.
The running seems to be having a positive effect on my weight and I've lost half a stone since I started and am definitely feeling better for it. My new trainers seem to have eased the knee pain a bit but I've also started trying to run on grass and avoid the pavement where possible.
Have a great weekend everyone :beer:0 -
Well done on the running! That's great news and should shame me into moving into action!!
The DFD will get arrive...I promise! I am beginning to think that for the very first time there is a real chance that I will always be much more frugal...first time for everything! Can't see it would have happened without the hard slog of changing behaviours of both OH and myself since June..we needed to see the error of our ways completely. I am not sure I will get there by NYE but will blooming try!
Have a great weekend

Thanks Brizzle, I'm sure if you don't make your NYE target it won't be for lack of trying and it'll arrive very soon afterwards :T
Was away with work again all week so no petrol to pay and I even managed to stay out of the bar in the evenings, so 4 NSDs :j
I'm also away again all this week but with a different team who are beer monsters so will try and remain strong and will buy my own and definitely avoid getting into any rounds
The running wasn't great this week due to horrendous weather and being shattered after really long days. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it :rotfl: Next week will be better.
Have a great what's left of your weekend folks.0 -
Eek. I know the risk of the beer monster colleagues only too well. Hope you're surviving!!
Haven't been running yet. Must do....
How's Breeze? She seems to have been quiet. Hopes she's OKMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi I2U!!
Just came on to update (think I'm addicted already) and spotted your diary just above mine so thought I'd pop in and read - you have done amazingly well in such a short space of time!!:T
As a previous runner, I reckon you've defo done the right thing with getting trainers properly fitted with running analysis - as bizarre as the experience is your joints will thank you and I reckon everything that makes running even a tiny bit more bearable is worth it
I've subscribed and will be cheering you on - but feel you won't be here for too long if you continue at the same rate!!

Following your shiny example this month and giving my debts 100% effort.
Exercise off till My chest recovers from flu. Walked up a hill today horribly tight chest till steamy bath later which was heaven.
Your signature looking great, wish mine was, figures in work so update tomorrow. Not moving in the right direction tho.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220
