How does Wilber gets his figures lol
He is on ESA from the first of march
He may have under lying entitlement to CA as he must be on ESA conts as he was working.
he still must be on assesment rate, couple
His wife gets DLA higher rate care so they must get EDP premium single rate as well

now Wilber I hate to tell you but you would be better of on I.S
    based on the above

but to get the amount he states he is on
    they would need

I.S made up of couple rate, couple DP, couple SDP couple EDP and both have U/E to CA to give the two CPs doable but
Both would need DLA middle care or above...
    He clearly has no DLA.

he seems to have tried to jump on the bandwagon but falls short as he is not entitled :),
he clearly should have kept his job

Yeh, if you can afford it.

If what you have said is true, about the amount of benefits you claim, you're just sick. You have a go at people like me who would like the system to be tightened up to stop such excesses and you're here boasting about it.

How do you sleep at night?

I think all genuine claimants would also like the system to be tightened up, thereby giving them a fairer share of the "cake". Many, like my DH are still taxpayers, and, being self funding, have to pay for their care needs. We can manage, but many can't.

Lots of people at his club (Alzheimers) are having to reduce their attendance days, because they can't afford it, and that's a double whammy. Both the person with the disease and their carer are denied the break. But as long as Andy's OK ........

Yes we are both sick AND disabled thank you! Hence the reason why and how we are able to have these little luxuries - do you seriously object to us having some quality of life?

You have been on ESA since 1st March with Depression
wait until your medical and see what group you go in first

Hang on, you would like the system to be tightened up in order to reduce the cost to the taxpayers. That would mean, using your argument, that those that are the 'real genuine' claimants would get more?? How do you work that one out?

I cannot see this government increasing the amount you will get for a Welfare award on the basis that they have removed a lot of people off it. Any savings will be kept by the government, not spread amongst those that continue to qualify.

I think that all benefit awardees should be paid an amount that will enable them to live comfortably. People don't generally have a choice if they are sick or disabled. The unemployed are simply that - out of work - why penalise them further by giving them just enough to cover the basics. This extra cost can so easilly be found by using one simple piece of new legislation - make tax avoidance, in all of it's guises, illegal - no family trusts, no offshore banking arrangement and certainly no offshore registered companies that trade and operate in the UK.

No, I never said I wanted the taxpayer to pay less. I would like people who are genuinely sick and disabled to be able to afford things like a Day Centre - not because they know how to work the system, but because they have sufficient benefits in the first place. Or don't you agree?

I'd like parents of disabled children to be able to attend family centres free for a holiday, because without it, the family unit is in danger of collapse, through the endless daily grind.

I'd like more businesses to employ more people, and I'd like it to really be financially beneficial to work. I'd like cures for all the dreadful illnesses that blight the world. . . . .

I find it disgusting that there are greedy people who always manage to get the lion's share, whether they deserve it or not, whilst others get !!!!!! all. That is why I voluntarily complete forms and type letters, for those in need who are put off by the sheer volume and/or complexity of them.

But, selfishly, more than anything, I'd like my DH not to get worse, and I'd my pay my last penny to ensure that. That's not going to happen so in the meantime, I'll support those in genuine need, and criticise those that aren't, but brag about how much they manage to get. OK?

So what makes you an expert in advising people who are on benefits?
    or you for that matter
Even more so, How can you have empathy of those that are sick and disabled?
    and you do

Maybe you are one of those that gets pleasure out of reading about the misfortunes of others in some peverse way?
or making up stories to poke fun

I had a job, a well paid job thank you very much.
    left Feb this year

You continue to exercise your choice in carrying on working, my choice was to give it all up and languish on benefits instead.
you are not on that much get your story right

Please be very careful when making comments about my benefit entitlement.
    well said
The word 'swindle' is commonly used to describe an illegal act of the theft or deception of money from the public purse.
you need to give yourself DLA next time

I take great exception to being called a thief.
    could be your next AE

All of my benefit claims are genuine, they have been vetted by the DWP and are constantly reviewed. There is nothing illegal in what I do.
    just made up

If I choose to understand the finer points of Welfare legislation in order that I can use the law to my advantage, then that is acceptable.
    lol
As for the fact that what I claim could be used instead to increase what the more worthy get - you live i:rotfl:n dream world.

in a dream world exactly, well said Wilber

As a matter of interest I see that you joined this site in March 2013. You have made 40 posts so far I believe, yet you are giving the impression that you know more of what is going on here for the number of weeks that you have been around?

Now that can only mean two things, one, that you have been a long time viewer but never joined (which I find surprising) but secondly and more likely, you have been on this site before under a different name. Why is that and is it not against the forum rules??

Unlike you who joined ten days ago and have written 141 posts!
