Sooolin, I feel sure you have done already, block that person. I've had to block someone for calling me ridiculous this morning and being argumentative, and they've not even bought anything yet.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. I block buyers at the drop of a hat, he was blocked about 3 minutes after his first email hit my inbox.
I'm not concerned about this one at all, I think in the past year this is the second time I've been accused of shill bidding by someone who hasn't got a clue how it works. The worrying thing here is that this user has been registered since 2007 and has a little over 400 feedback and although a small time buyer he is fairly steady- you'd think he would have got the hang of it by now.
I have reported the email to ebay , but don't expect much in the way of a response.
The item was wrapped and has already gone out via the Mail centre this morning to the winning buyer as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The send an email along the following lines:
"Thank you for your concern, however I would like to assure you the the auction was fair and run according to ebay rules. The item has been paid for and has been shipped.
I have reported your emails to ebay as I believe they contravene several of ebay's policies. ":A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

More likely to be a chancer trying to bully you than a nutjob.
Use the report links on the emails and then delete, don't waste your time with this idiot. If they bid you can pull their details which will give you some idea if they come back to bid with another ID but the downside is this will give them your phone number. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
Advice to anyone who gets similar emails off potential buyers , it constitutes an abuse of the ebay messaging service, and ebay will take their time to help you with this, what they advise is NOT to reply but instead, to report it right away let ebay deal with it and they will give the sender a warning about this .
So ,keep reporting people who do this and it will prevent someone else being cyberbullied by them, and also if the abusive /threatening/libellous words are bad they also are breaking the law, under the Malicious Communications Act 1998 so do remember and copy any of the rude or insulting words and/or phrases for the attention of ebay.
NEVER EVER be tempted to reply even if you send what people always seem to term here as a POLITE reply. Why communicate with someone who only intended to bully? They don't deserve any reply or sarcasm as they are looking for your response to get a kick ,most definitely ,people doing this are not important enough to even deserve an iota of anyones time, it will be a minute of your life you will never get back again ,and them getting a response will encourage them to respond again and so it would just escalate.NB...People online who are here asking advice for "my friend" they really mean "myself" :eek:0 -
So, I've transferred £9.99 to your account, when will you send me the item I won fair and square?0

I don't see it as an abusive email at all, or even abuse of the system and frankly I don't expect ebay to do anything about it.
To me it is a peeved buyer, who thinks he knows it all and has been caught out by not understanding that the highest bidder wins, not the fastest to bid. I tend not to reply and just block them and move on- I am not going to waste time worrying about such a person.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have always been surprised at the amount of people who seem to think that if they bid early they are somehow entitled to the item. A good few years ago now I got into a real argument with a buyer who was absolutely adamant that because she had offered a BIN price (which I refused) but then bid within a day or me listing my item she was somehow entitled to it even though someone else won it fair and square at end of auction. That was a real drama queen, really OTT and by not winning my item I had apparently ruined her life and would have that on my conscience. From memory it was an unremarkable piece of clothing from a closed down chain store.
I've also had work colleagues express surprise that they have lost an item they really wanted and had bid for early, just because the seller got greedy and let someone else have it for more!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
