Best way to heat Straw Bale House

I'm thinking about building a straw bale house at the bottom of my grans large garden! My dad (a builder) has agreed to build this for me.

Only looking for a small 2 bedroom dormer bungalow, with large kitchen dinner, downstairs bathroom, utility room and lounge.
as for heating, i will be using the best roof insulation i can find and of course straw walls.
with Rayburn in the kitchen doing the hot watera and a multi-fuel stove in lounge, the chimneys will be internal so there will be heat from those.

what i would like to know would the rayburn be expensive to run as a hot water boiler and cooker (as not having rads!!!)

but I think a lot will depend on what the Rayburn is running on, and if it's wood, what that will cost you.

Oh, and someone is bound to ask if you have planning permission before too long as well! :rotfl:
