No one is telling the OP to continue in that job forever, but she has plenty of time to look for another job. Surely there are jobs around when your skill is as a cook?
I get from OP's posting that she just has an issue with working under some pressure when she feels she could get almost as much income doing nothing and being happy to let other work hard and under pressure to support her.
Working in a stressful environment is horrible, but if it is so bad, it should be the incentive to take on anything else. How can there be no jobs at all for either yourself of your husband? It it is so bad, surely moving is one option to consider. It's all about planning your exit to better yourself, not taking the easy way out expecting others to support you and your family.0 -
Just stick to it and keep looking for a new job. 6 weeks looking for a new job is not that long, it doesn't mean OP can't find one if she persists. Alternatively, move to a partof the country both can get jobs (but make sure at least one of you have a job there first...)0

Hello all, my English is not very good. I came from France and started working in England. I applied for my Child benefit and was later sent a form- Child Benefit for People Coming from abroad. In the form I was asked to declare Income I received from France, although, I still receives some family benefit i.e for the child from France.
My question is, what count as an Income, do Family benefit count as an Income.
Also please what is Taxable and non Taxable Income?0
