            Hiya Deestar, how exiting to have someone who is in the same boat. :j
 I'm enjoying the diary so far. I have loads I subscribe to aswell, it's my new guilty secret!
 I have always had debt but have worked hard to get rid of (apart from a few bits I have on 0%) so it's so strange getting my head around sorting credit balances! I love it though and can't wait to get properly organised and started.

            Ooh, another long-hauler like me. Welcome to MFW Muser :wave:
 I too work part-time (although it seems to take more time than it's supposed to) and have two kids. I've not been around for a while because work was too busy and too stressful and I fell off the MFW wagon for a few weeks. My mortgage numbers are in my sig but they're a bit out of date. One of my targets for half term is to get my spreadsheets etc sorted again.
 You don't mention a partner. Are you on your own with your mini-me's? If so, then an extra special welcome from one single parent to another. If not, then do tell us whether your OH is on board with the whole MFW thing or not. It makes such a difference to everything.
 Anyway, have a great time on your MFW journey, and enjoy all the fun on this board. My diary is here, in case you'd like to read it. Hey Lois and SweeyDaisy! Thanks for the welcome.
 Lois I will be over to your diary now.
 Ooops fancy forgetting my OH! He is 100% on board which is amazing. He sorts most of the bills out and we sit down and budget together. He did the weeks food for £35 yesterday so super impressed. :money:
 I know this is swearing in the land of MSE but I have no idea how to create a spreadsheet. I'm going to have to make this journey with a pad and pen I think.
 Happy sunny Sunday everybody.

            So glad your OH is on board. I think the hardest MFW journeys are the one with an obstructive OH who keeps spending on silly stuff. Easier to be either a single person or a couple who are on the same page about it.
 Spreadsheets are a huge part of the fun of MFW. They are much easier with a computer because it does all the sums for you and can draw graphs and things, but if you prefer to do it with a paper and pen, if it's got a few columns of dates and numbers and stuff then it's a spreadsheet. If you want to get started on a computer one then I can help you, or there are links to various people's mortgage spreadsheets on here that you can copy and put your own numbers into.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

            Hi Lois,
 Spreadsheet assistance would be immense. You will need patience and lots of it tho!
 Less said about todays MSE the better. We have been shopping for various presents ( all paid for from savings pot) and a pair of trousers for me followed by lunch out. £70 in all for lunch and trousers. Taken from funds we have but still. It's a lot of money :mad:
 I'll list a few MSE things achieved today.
 * Pegged out 3 lots of washing
 * Used up loads of nearly dead veg
 * Packed lunches for me and oh and mini me's to be fed at nursery and holiday play scheme. (pre paid)
 Work tomorrow so hopefully a NSD. :money:
 Jobs for this week
 * Open Isa
 * Book beauty appointments I have vouchers for.
 * Sort my hair out
 * Get to the bottom of the ironing pile
 Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend.

            Yesterday was no where near a nsd. I forgot I needed bus fare and we also needed some bread milk etc then a bottle of Pinot G managed to find it's way into my basket. Naughty Muser! I really need to stop the wine drinking it's bad for the budget and the waistline.
 Today we are being very lazy. Ds having a nap and dd watching a film on Netfl1x. Off out with a friend tonight so another spendy day.
 Still waiting on a cheque to arrive and clear and then can have a big sort out.
