Hi October girl I'm :rotfl: at rubber chicken.
New hours have already made a massive impact. DD in particular seems so much happier she is a complex little soul so it's great to see. I have things on eBay and have contacted a ppi reclaim company. I'm convinced I never had it but you never know. So hopefully we can get the money together. Be a real shame to miss out.
We were naughty last night and had a takeaway
so warmed up pizza for lunch. Yum. Paid for out of weekly spends.
Ald1 shop tonight. Don't need much so hopefully get away with £40ish spend.
Out at a friend's house later tonight will be good to catch up. Free too!

Interesting you should be looking at this ppi thing, I contacted a firm several weeks ago, it's still sitting on the side, for some reason I'm hesitating about sending it off. I don't want my bank getting !!!!!y with us! Let me know how you get on!! X0

Hi Muser, you came onto my thread and now I've found yours

Haven't read it all I too have a DS & DD & they interrupt my internet time
but nice to pop in. I did read the bit where you said you were relieved that your DS was on his best behaviour at playgroup - I have sooooo been there :rotfl:

Hello Muser, just wanted to say a quick hello! I've really enjoyed reading your diary, keep up the good work!

So glad to hear the cutback in hours have made such a significant impact, when you see such an big difference you realise it's all worth it xxa penny picker upper. Somebody help me I have just cut up cereal boxes to use for lists! I'm getting obsessed with this MSE malarky! Does anyone else sometimes forget in rl that not many people 'get' this I sometimes do or say things and people look at me like I am losing the plot! xx
Ha Ha, most people i know look at me like that. I think it's nice though if you can make use of things more than once. I do think that if you can find a second use for things you not only save yourself money, but maybe save a little bit for the planet too.:A0 -

            Crikey it's been a while!
Today is as good a day as any to update!
I have just swapped our mortgage deal. :j Have a 2 year fix with Halifax with no fees of any description. It's 2.54% which I'm chuffed with. I realise in 2 years the rates may well be a lot higher but I'm happy for now.
This means monthly payments of £440! £110 less than now. £110 a month overpayment isn't too shabby at all is it?? :TMortgage Jan 13 99260.00 87253 April 2017

Fab fix!!! (my SVR is 2.5%, but not worth us fixing now) - and a 20% drop in your payment too - great stuff! An OP of 25% every month is definitely not shabby at all!

I didn't think of it like that GreenT! It's pretty amazing really. Fingers crossed I can get some extra bits to throw at it.
Very happy Muser xMortgage Jan 13 99260.00 87253 April 2017
