Glad you had a good time at Disney on Ice - I'm sure my little one would have loved it too
Hope you get through your list

Lots of quiet diaries at the minute!
I have just claimed £70.00 from TCB will put that in the holiday savings when it pings through.
Mad cleaning day today. I am doing it in 20 min bursts. The next 20 will see me dusting and polishing upstairs. I then need to..- Hoover stairs
 - Hoover all bedrooms landing and bathroom
 - Mop all floors upstairs.
 - Change my bed
 - Polish and hoover through downstairs.
 - Dust and hoover basement.

Yikes! Best get going.

Managed all my jobs! Yippee. Love a fresh clean home. A massive deep clean always reminds me how lucky we are to have such a lovely little home. I tend to forget sometimes and concentrate on what I don't have. Nice feeling.
Nsd yesterday and hoping for one today. Off to work so need to make sure I take a decent pack up to keep me on the straight and narrow.

I agree with this - sometimes I am so busy looking to the future, that I forget to enjoy the present. I'll be in my home for at least another 5 years and am incredibly fortunate to have a home. I find volunteering brings me back to earth and reminds me of how lucky I am.M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -
Funny you should say that BlueMoo I have been looking into becoming a volunteer for Home Start! I think I would really enjoy it. We will also be in our home at least another 5 years probably a while longer than that.
So so busy at the moment with kids, work, Christmas and shock horror a social life
Trying hard to be sensible with money and not doing to badly so far! So glad I have MSE in my life or it would be a very different story. :money:

A social life you say? I don't think I understand you?!!!?? :rotfl:
I definitely like to splurge from time to time, but you've worked hard and as long as in budget, why not?M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -
            Hello diary
Another Christmas done and dusted! No debt to take into the new year which is the most fantastic feeling. Lots of people I know were telling me how many hundreds of £££££ they had spent on their kids and I admit I had a little wobble! They are now the ones really fed up and desperate for payday. It has made me realise I'm doing the right thing by my children.
I'm plodding along, surveys are going quite well and oh is still doing an amazing job food shopping and batch cooking. Stepping back into eBay too. Just the one item for now :rotfl:
I'm so proud of how we are doing.
Happy New year. No resolution as such I just want to keep up the focus.
