Have just had an email from Tickles and they are offering pleasure beach wristbands at a discounted price so will use these, thanks again.0

Pleasurewood is a great day out much better than the pleasurebeach we go every year you can easily spend a day in there, you cant spend that long in the pleasurebeach its a bit run down , there is a half price family ticket offer, i have the link at home will find it 4u,
Its only about 10/15 mins drive from Hopton, you go to Lowerstoft, and as you enter Lowerstoft ther is a large roundabout with a Tesco and Harvester pub, take first exit and follow the road to the end
EDIT: Redwings is good as well its a horse sanctuary, free to get in just leave a donation0 -

Have a great time stinkyfeet. Let me know what the Hopton site is like as I'm going there the week after you. Thanks
Will definitely let you know how we got on.
Has anyone got any recommendations for good places to eat in the evening, one that's suitable for children but serves more than chips! And one that won't break the bank, if that's possible?!:rotfl:
Look forward to any ideas!0 -
Not sure about places round Hopton to eat, but Black rock grill at Potters holiday village is awesome!
You get a hot rock and cook your meat yourself on the rock. The quality of meat and fish is really good and for the main course its all you can eat!
But its not cheap.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
the Toby Carvery nearby is very nice0
