Do you use cleansing wipes - the quickest way to clean your skin at night?

I have used wipes in the past but I've never been able to get all my make-up off with them. If you want a quick alternative when you're tired before bed I'd recommend a micellar water. It's quick as a flash and does a much more thorough job than wipes. Washing your face properly in the morning is all well and good but I wouldn't want to sleep all night with my face not really clean. I'd rather do a proper job at night and then have a quick swish with water in the morning.
If you find you're too tired to remove your make-up and give your skin a proper clean just before bed could you do it a bit earlier? Like after your dinner go up and have a good cleanse and put your pj's on then at bed time all you've got to do is brush your teeth. I find this is best for me as I'm usually exhausted by bedtime.
I use either oil or a hot cloth cleanser to shift my makeup and really cleanse properly, then in the morning I use either Olay dailies or Clinique foaming cleanser as I like the feeling of splashing water on my face. I find it wakes me up nicely.0 -
Just a Girl, maybe a stupid question but do you buy it from the supermarket and what do you actually do with it?
The only supermarket that sells good quality, virgin coconut oil (that I've found) is Tesco & Waitrose. They both sell the Groovy Food Co. brand which costs about £7 a jar. I buy mine in from the States as the exchange rate makes it much more affordable. Holland & Barratt also sell Tiana & Dr Organic - both excellent quality.
If you're going to give it a go, make sure you buy a virgin, cold pressed oil and it will cost about £7 for 300ml. If you see it cheaper, it's most likely a bleached, refined oil which has no beneficial properties0 -

Its a good idea to try and cleanse my face earlier than bedtime, I need to try and get into a routine. Which hot cloth cleanser do you use? I have tried Liz Earle which is good but I found the muslin cloths a faff, washing them out and all that so back to the wipes I went.0 -

I use cleansing oil at night, it melts off my make up, even my indestructible mascara. I have lots of muslin cloths, I throw them in the washing machine.
I use a hot cloth cleanser in the morning, superdrug vitamin e is brilliant & cheap.0 -
What kind of skin do you all have?
I wash my face with warm water and a bar of Simple soap most mornings. So far my face still looks human...
Is all the money, time and effort really needed or worth it or are we being conned on a massive scale here?0 -

Is the Superdrug cleanser OK for sensitive skin? What moisturiser do you use with it?
I find it a faff putting cloths in the wash, its something extra to dry, maybe I need to be more tolerant of them or use a cleanser and cotton wool or wash off cleanser?0 -

I should imagine so, but its cheap enough to try.
I use olay regenerist.
The cloths are tiny & thin, I was with whites & stick in dryer, with whites.0 -

I've got the Nirvana Spa one from Asda £7 (I think) or 2 for £8 across the range. It's lovely and my sensitive eyes are fine with it so sensitive skin should be OK too. I just rinse the cloth out well after use then after 2 or 3 uses it goes it the wash with the whites and goes on the line/radiator/airer. They dry quickly as they're pretty thin. I've also used it with a normal face flannel and that works fine too.
If you want to be really :money: you could use cleansing oil. 1 part castor oil to 4 parts extra virgin olive oil. Massage into skin and through eyelashes, wipe off as with hot clot cleansing.0 -
I use aqueous cream, just rub it in and wipe it off with a microfibre cloth and warm water. It's cheap as chips.0

I used to use aqueous cream to wash by body with at one time but found it a bit messy, do you use it wash all over with or just your face? I've heard you can use it as a moisturiser aswell?
I have very sensitive skin and am currently coming out in a rash and flaky skin on my neck. I've heard Simple skincare is good too.0
