Hello, do we have any fuzzibunz elite one-size users here? I could really use some tips from someone who uses them successfully... my list of problems is long so perhaps a PM is best! TIA :)

We use pocket nappies from ebay :D Been using them for 4 months now. The user we used was '97kgallery'

Another way to save a bit of money is to buy baby flannels from your local poundstore (poundland/poundworld) 6 flannels for £1 and use them as wetwipes.

I adore my Totsbots - I brought them all second hand for £90 (Couldn't tell you how many I have as Ive never counted but DD can usually go 3 or 4 days before I need to wash) That said DD does use a disposable at night.

I brought a cheapy reusable from ebay to check I could get on with them first and a lovely lady i know lent me a few of hers before I brought them though!

I have just recieved a set of 20 totsbots I bought on ebay, I am really excited, but I am wondering if that is going to be enough?
This is my first so I have no clue! I would appreciate the benefit of your experience!
  • I have 23 and this lasts about 3 days before I have to do a wash.

    Good to know, thanks!
I won another 5 on ebay today, plus I received 1 free from the local council, so I think I should have plenty now.
I have to admit I also have a stash of disposables to start us off with. I bought a few bags before I decided to go with washables, but I am think it will be a big enough shock without having to wash nappies in that first week or two!:o

lots of reusables dont fit newborns anyway, lots seem to be suitable from 10lb ish. We started using them after about 8 weeks. It's nice seeing them drying on the line though, and the sun is a natural bleach for all those lovely yellow stains :o

I use 13 and wash every 3 rd day. Started using it at 12 weeks though before we went through 10 disposables a day.
