I destroyed a frying pan on my worksurface once because I was so angry. Better than the alternative though of round the side of my OH's head.Val.0

I talk to someone, a friend who plays along with it. Often, the only way to really deal with it is to discuss the matter with the person who is causing me to be angry.0

I recently read a book by author Cathy Glass called Happy Adults! Its an easy read but very very good! She covers all avenues of adult lives but specifically letting go of anger. I wish you well.

The anger was sorted as my husband solved the problem I was angry about (without me telling him I was angry) - so all better! I couldn't possibly have asked him to sort it out but I am glad he did it of his own accord.
I like some of these suggestions though and I will file them away for future reference!0 -

Glad to hear the problem has been resolved now OP. If I feel upset or angry about a situation I do some excercise. A run along the beach is a brilliant way to boost my mood and helps me to re-focus and think more positvely.
Anger can be such a draining and destructive emotion. After a run I dont have the energy to feel too much other than relaxed and calm. A lovely soak in the bath with a good book afterwards and I am back to my normal happy go lucky self in no timeThe best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses.
