Peugeot 307, Vectra or Mondeo ?

We are thinking about changing car and have short listed the Peugeot 307. Vectra or Mondeo and whichever we decide it will be the diesel. So which one would you choose and why ? Thanks :D Edit to add : looking around the 3/4 yr old mark.

I wouldn't touch any of them with a barge pole, there are far better cars available..Toyota, Honda, even Skoda.;)
