Peugeot 307, Vectra or Mondeo ?
Comments
-
Mondeo - better handling/roadholding. Noisier on motorways.
Vectra - better quality cabin, comfortable ride and quiet on motorways.
307 - Never driven one!
307 is one class size down on the other two. Depends if you spend all day on the motorway. The man without a signature.0 -
The 307 is also near the bottom of every survey going.

aw no, its me who liked the 307 not hubby.
Im gonna sound like a right typical woman but I was in town the other day and saw a nice light green estate 307 and it looked lovely. Had a quick peep at the dash and thought yeah, its canny................wasnt interested in the mechanics :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Mondeo all the way
307 - French, awkward to work on, expensive to fix, lots of problems
Vectra - Also has had quite a few problems0 -
Vectra is used by the trafpol because it's good at catching up with cars, so a good choice for people who want something that goes fast.
My friend has one that's about 3 or 4 years old and he always seems to be having something fixed though.

OH has driven all three as part of his job. He loathes the 307, he loved the Vectra to drive but he bought a Mondeo as that was his favourite. It's a petrol and I can't say we have noticed any road nosie on motorways, but then the CD player drowns most things out!!

vectra's are cheaper than mondoes and i have the 1800 and iwhen you get the revs up it goes plus it's not much slower than the 3ltr cdti auto version (m8 has one)except the top speed is slower,i have never had a bad fault with it apart from crap dealers in my area only haft doing there job and the timing belt need changing every 40k not 60k like the service book says because they have had some failed before 60k.
if i drive it right i can get about 180mile+ from £20 put i am heavy on the left foot and get 100 to 160 most of the time, and still goes to the dealer for servicing (4years old now)has they are cheaper than every one near me in my area (they may not be near you )
you need a good set of tryes on it to get it round cornes has it not very good at going round them fast:embarasse put you should not be doing thatthere or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0
