Temp bathroom heating -does it exist?

The fan heaters I showed are for bathrooms, no problem using them. They are wall mounted and have pull cord switches.
Thanks, yes, ideal and could be removed when I leave. However they need to be installed by an electrician which is likely to put the cost up stupidly.
Thanks for the ideas everyone, unfortunately even if it heats up outside, it takes a lot of heat to warm up inside, 2ft thick walls are a nightmare. It's always embarrassing telling people to bring thick jumpers to wear indoors here.
A small heater like the one above might be the only way to go.0 -
my mum has one of these in her bathroom

whenever i've been staying it's worked really well, heats the room up to a nice temp nice and quickly.0 -
thanks, yes I remember things like this from my childhood. Can you just fit it to an existing light fitting or again, does it need an electrician. I've had a look at the details and the reviews, and the answer seems to vary. Can anyone advise?0

As other have mentioned, the main issue with a short-term fix is electrical safety. Electrical bathroom heating has to be wired into the mains.
What I have done in the past is to use an oil-filled radiator with a 24-hour timer. I've plugged it onto a socket outside the bathroom and set it to come on a couple of hours before people wake up and then stay on until the evening. The guests can simply unplug it when they close the bathroom door.
They are a little pricey but work well. A more permanent solution is to get a heater wired into the bathroom - you can get pipe-type heaters mounted near the floor but you'll need an electrician to get them wired in.Everyone is entitled to my opinion!0 -

I'm led to believe that those kinds of heaters are unfortunately only suitable for well ventilated areas, mainly outdoors. As a campervanner, I wouldn't use one in my van, let alone in an enclosed bathroom. A real shame, as otherwise the size (and price!) wd be ideal.0 -

I used something similar about 20 years ago. It didn't need specialist fitting and did the job through the winter of 92/93Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
If you're prepared to pay some money, an electric towel rail may be your answer.

You'll need an electrician to install it properly, but it should heat your bathroom and dry towels as well when no-one's in there. If needs be you could have it wired to a switch outside of the bathroom or a pull switch.0 -
Thanks, but I only need it for a week so don't want to pay any more than I have to. There's a perfectly good radiator in there and one of these days I'll be able to afford the oil to run it - roll on lottery/pay rise/millionaire on white charger!
