Have a really busy weekend ahead, but if I get time I shall pick through some dried fruit (can't stand finding stalks in with currants) and soak in rum for Christmas cakes. The mixture can sit there until its cold enough to turn the heating (and oven) on, or the first week of November, whichever comes sooner!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Nearly done with my Christmas prep, and for the first time I have wrapped them ahead as we have so much going on from now until Jan inc a house move. I have wrapped them and stored them at my parents, quite a relief actually
The only present I have left is for my friend's seven year old, wanted to get him a nice gift but nothing to expensive - I would give crafts as I love to gift crafty/art bits for children but unfortunately their family doesn't really do much like that, more like dvds/computer games. Is anyone buying for a seven-ish year old boy?0 -
The candy canes are now 2 for £2 until 24th December. Not much good if you only want one pack but it looks like there might be other bits in the 2 for £2 offer. They also have chocolate tree decorations in my online store in the 2 for £2 offer.0

Haha, no - I wrapped my presents telling myself that it isn't a Grinch-y thing to do as I can still enjoy doing all the other festive stuff like Christmas movies (prob whilst doing uni work!) etc but without the stress of shopping/present buying & wrappingWe are moving in a week, so hopefully be settled well before Christmas - we moved in Dec one year and it was such a rushed Christmas!
