Dont know if you have a poundworld near you, but when was in ours at weekend they had pack of 8 popping candy £1 - they were up on the rack by the sweets - normally we pay between 25p and 35p a packet.
Getting so tight, I wont buy choc unless its from £1 shop - get more espically dime bars £1 for 4, can by 60p in some places xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
My can of Black Treacle, used in the Xmas Pud recipe, which will be published on 1st November, has an best before date of August, 2007. The can is rather dented nowadays. Do you think that this year, I should go all butter rather than use Suet?

Home Bargains sometimes have glue guns for around £5-6. But I would suggest double sided tape. The best you can get has a red plastic backing (not white paper) this is the strongest stuff you can get (believe me). You don't need a lot of this and you can get it on ebay (the cheapest) for about £2 a roll, craft shops it varies in price other than that the craft shows (Hobbycraft) are starting now for Christmas going around the country you'll get it at them (and lots of ideas).CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

No, you need suet to get the right texture, and I'm sure your treacle will be fine. It didn't kill you last year did it?!0 -

Went to Costco and got some glue dots in the end as they didn't seem to have glue guns. I was generally disappointed though. They did have lots of super-sized Christmas deccies etc. (who buys that?) but no candy canes at all. Ended up buying a nice throw, some battery operated LED candles that I also bought last year, some pickles for Christmas, a lazy susan. I am always glad to get out of that place. Really busy in the middle of the afternoon with people lining up to grab your parking place. I forget how much it winds me up sometimes - people forget their manners when they get there.0

Hi, don't often post but just wanted to let you know that Dunelm Mill have the red super sticky tape and various other double sided tapes for the princely sum of 79pence. Few of my GF's and I clear the shelves of it whenever we are passing its soooo cheap! HTH.:)
