Bossymoo - have you bought your son any of the lego minifigures? I think WHSmith do mini builds, like cars etc.
Hi thanks! I haven't yet but I will keep an eye out!
We had the small gund elf last year, called Benny. He arrived with the advent calendars, and each night on FB I added a pic of his antics, I think the grown ups find them as funny. One night he was trying to scale the bathroom wall to escape the kids toy crocodile, it was hilarious. My two year old told her nursery lady "Benny been bite chockodiyle" lol she had no idea what the little one was talking about.
I might get a bigger one this year, Benny is a bit of a titchBossymoo

Thanks for those websites - it was Pinterest where I first discovered it & I think I have the elf they have in the pictures there in my head, but yes, I guess any elf will do
I'm so excited to try this out - maybe my dd will be a little young to understand most of it, but I just feel like a big kid again now I'm a mom!0 -
I've never heard of the Christmas Eve Hampers and am definitely going to do them for my two this year, even though they are 16 and 20!!Jane

You wait till you're a grandma! Things get better, you can be as childish as you like and get away with it.
Grandchildren are such a gift.
I am sure your little one will love it, enjoy!0 -
I bought an orange joules tweed shopper-style bag for £20 (£49.99), a Molten Brown set for £19.00 (RRP £42.00).
I also got 9 shot glass-sized bath bombs with dried flowers on top/a soap cupcake/2 bath bomb ice cream scoops/2 slices of mint soap cake and 3 mini branded gift bags for £13 from a fancy boutique (RRP £27.50) - I'm going to split these into 4/5 mini gifts and give them with a pashmina or scarf I got for £2.50 each from a 70% off sale.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. I was in Sainsbobs last night and bought some Moshi Monster stationary for my daughter. It had 70% off. Ideal stocking fillers. I also got some 1D stationary from Morrisons with 60% off for all the 1D fans out there (not me, my eldest, lol).
