I had an email from the customer relations department today, they have apologised and have offered a full refund, that I am glad about, just thought I would update the thread

    Thanks

Did a full refund include the extra amount that you had to pay?

Actually I'm a little surprised at the reception that you have received here.
I know many are sensitive to the word 'rip off' here, but I can understand your annoyance.
I would expect them to refund at least what you paid for parking.

I am with you. Most times when someone posts rip off it clearly isnt but in this case the OP had every right to feel annoyed/ripped off.

Thanks for the update Op and ignore all those who want to escalate your post in to a supermarket price war
  • StressFreeParking who are part of the same group as Looking4Parking were on TV the other night. The program was called "Your Money Their Tricks". The program covered companies, using customer's cars for their own use, damaging cars and refusing to pay, leaving cars in so called car parks unlocked and in the street overnight etc.

I'd stay well clear of Loking4Parking and StressFreeParking and their associated companies.
