Tiscali sent out letters at the beginning of 2007 re their upcoming offer to compete with TalkTalk, £19.99 for broadband, all calls and line rental.
They say it will be available on my exchange in about 2 weeks time, my question is has anybody got this service as yet and if so is it ok?? I have been with Tiscali for several years with no problems, but not sure about this new all in service?

I joined Tiscali in November Just before they announced their new competitive rates GRRRRR, HOWEVER when I checked my direct debit they had automatically changed me to the cheaper rate!!!! :j
I didn't even have to contact them and haggle!
I now have my line rental, unlimited broadband and phonecalls for about £16-£20 a month.Considering I was paying £20 a month to BT for for just the phone I think I am on a good deal. Reception is Fine has NEVER crashed!
HOWEVER
They have just announced a get out clause charge if you leave them to cover the costs BT are charging them so it might be worth taking this into consideration before you apply!
HTH

I've have had an email offering me this deal from July, I am seriously thinking about taking it up! I already have Broadband with Tiscali, my husband is always moaning about the phone bill, so hopefully this will ease things.
What does free 'Anytime' phone calls actually mean???
Thanks

I took it to mean ALL calls are free regardless of the time of day or night you make the call. Some companies offer unlimited evening and weekend calls. Anytime includes daytime calls to (not usually to mobiles or international though):rotfl:0 -

A few weeks ago I sent Tiscali an e-mail asking whether I could take up the new offer and also whether it would entail a new contract. They said yes I could and that no new contract had to be signed. The service is thus far fine. I had no problems switching from BT and my housemates and I are all enjoying anytime calls to landlines0

i've just rung them and the offer is still available
so i've switched. they seem pretty good...unlike talktalk
there is a one-off connection fee for £30 though0 -
Tiscali have come top in the complaints reviews for ages at
http://www.ispreview.co.uk/new/complain/complain.shtml
Why anybody would use them is beyond belief, they are worse than Orange and Sky, even worse than Talk Talk.:rolleyes:0
