debit card chargeback for counterfeit goods?

Yes. For everything that is bad about forces life, you do have the security of knowing you will have food and shelter. At the present time, I am currently breaking parts of my car to sell to people to provide food for my son. I will not claim benefits as that is not my way, but to say I am living on the poverty line is a fair one.0 -
As you paid by debit card, you are limited to the chargeback rights available through Visa International. There's no Section 75 cover so i feel you will have to get some legal advice regarding what to do next, i would imagine it's going to be pretty difficult to take this further. I know you say the goods were advertised as genuine but you have actually been selling counterfeit goods, this alone might cause problems for you. All you can do for now is wait for Halifax's response.0

Thats what I shall do. Best case scenario, in a couple of weeks the money is back to me. Worst is they tell me to get stuffed. I just have a lot of sleepless nights from not to then. It was all due to stupidness on my part. So far I have heard nothing, so it may be as simple as them looking at my evidence and oking it. However I have a feeling it will not be. I shall keep you all informed anyway.0 -

I think a lot in the army would disagree. Have you seen the cut backs happening? Nothing is secure.
Awful situation for you0 -

I know about the redundancies. However I am quite confident that I could rejoin. They are still recruiting for certain roles. And I can't really be in a worst position than I am here.
And it's my own doing really. So I shall have to live with it. But thanks anyway.0 -

No, worst case would be that your bank, or the customers who were ripped off before you were banned from eBay (assuming of course that you haven't contacted them all to offer them a full refund) report you to HMRC, who then pay you a visit and discover that you are in possession of a significant amount of counterfeit goods, and decide to prosecute you for both selling counterfeit goods and failure to declare the income from their sales for tax purposes.
I sincerely doubt you're going to have any joy with your bank given that the amount you purchased makes it clearly a B2B transaction.
Assuming you're talking about the Survivor cases, I would suggest that one option may be to remove the packaging, and try to sell them as generic cases. Looking on DHGate, it seems that most of the ones on sale, while undoubtedly cheap knock offs, would probably be legal to sell if you remove the Survivor packaging and make sure that you're not trying to 'pass off' as the real deal.0 -
