Why bother telling anyone e.g. neighbours that you are moving?
Why have the EA's board up? It's not compulsory & if you're lucky, you could've loaded up the van & disappeared into the sunset leaving some stunned neighbours behind
Just a thought for next time.

If you feel you need to keep on good terms with them just smile sweetly and tell them everything's in hand, and swiftly change the subject - it's none of their business, don't give them the opportunity to voice opinion. (or let them give their opinion and then change the subject)0
